I’ve been hesitant to get a robot vacuum since their inception. I decided to jump with the S8. Whilst I obviously can’t comment yet on the long-term performance or robustness of it, so far, it has been fantastic. Incredibly well made, great performance and usability in the house, and a genuinely fantastic app. Buy one, and have your life changed.

Fantastic cleaning robot, navigates an complex and ever changing room environment and does a great job of cleaning the floor. App is easy to use and configuring schedules, firmware updates is a breeze. Includes a mop attachment which I haven’t tried, but certainly a bonus.

My sone had an earlier model, and as he enthused about it, I decided to buy one too. Couldn’t be more delighted – I am amazed at how much fluff it finds under furniture and beds (places where a conventional vacuum simply can’t go) and howit inteligently switches modes as it moves from wooden floors to carpets to rugs. Fully programmable from its own app or Alexa, it simply does everything it promises. (Shame it can’t climb and vacuum stairs as well!)

Once set up, does a competent job. I found that the floor washer does best if you wet the pad before you start. The combination of washing and vacuuming is very good.

I expected a robot mop and vacuum cleaner to do a reasonable job but I didn’t expect it to be brilliant. I would have given it 5* but in my view misses a couple of essential features. The bin as expected is quite small and if your carpet is new or gives off a fair amount of pile then the bin soon fills. Unfortunately there is no full bin alarm and therefore it doesn’t automatically return to the docking station. This means I have to do a room by room vacuum and check the bin level after each room. There is also no low level alarm for the water tank although this is quite easy to see.

We watched lots of reviews on robot hoovers/mops and decided on this one. It’s excellent takes about 45 mins to do upstairs or downstairs (in a 4 bed house) it’s so easy to use we do it nearly every day and can’t believe how much it picks up, carpets have never looked so clean. Great to have hoover and mop in one device. Only slight negative is that it goes back to charge when at 20% battery so I can’t do whole house with one battery cycle. We have it stored under our sofa in living room so hidden, as it’s not meant to be stored on carpet we purchased a hard vinyl mat which works really well. I would def recommend.
